build-your.app (we call the app "Bya" for short) lets you describe an app in plain language and get one built for you. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and why.

What we collect

• An install ID, created on your device the first time you open the app. It has no name or email attached.
• A device token, which lets our server recognize your device on later visits.
• Your IP address, which our server sees whenever the app talks to it. We use it to stop abuse, like one person grabbing the free welcome credits over and over, and it can show up in our server logs.
• The prompts you write and the apps we generate from them, so you can come back to and edit your own builds.
• Once you buy credits, Google Play handles the payment. We never see your card details.
• We keep our own record of what you bought and when, so we can credit your account and help if something goes wrong.
• If Bya crashes, a crash report: the error, your Android and app versions, and your device's build details. It has no name or email in it.
• Feedback you send us and, if you choose to include it, which app or build it was about.
• If a build fails, the last code we generated for it, so we can work out what went wrong. We keep only the last few for each app.

We keep these until you ask us to delete them (see "Deleting your data").

What we don't do

No ads, anywhere in the app. We never sell your data to anyone, for any reason.

How your prompt is used

To build your app, we send your prompt to the AI providers we use: third-party services that turn your description into working code. That's the only reason your prompt ever leaves our server. We don't hand it to anyone else, and we don't use it to train anything of our own.

While building, our system can also look things up on the web through one of these providers. Those search queries can include parts of your prompt, are processed outside the US, and that provider's terms let it use them to improve its own models. Our other AI providers don't train on what we send them.

If you publish an app

Publishing an app to the community listing is your choice, made from inside the app. Once published, its title, icon, screenshots, category, the prompt you used to build it, and your chosen creator handle are all visible to anyone browsing the community, until you unpublish it.

Deleting your data

Open any app's Data screen inside Bya and delete its data, then uninstall the Bya app itself. That removes what's on your device.

To delete your whole account, including everything stored on our server: open Bya, go to Wallet, and tap Delete account. This removes your apps, any of them you published, your credits and subscription access, and your build history. No app installed? See build-your.app/delete-account for how to ask us by email instead, using the support code the app shows; we delete it within 30 days.

Two things survive account deletion, both stripped of anything that identifies you: our own AI usage records (for cost accounting) and the minimum purchase record Google Play's own accounting needs (which pack, how many credits, when).

If we block an account for abuse, we keep a small record of it (a flag for the device and the reason) even after the account is deleted, so it can't simply come back.
